The absolute best hotel service in Europe! Our stay at Room Mate Gorka was incredible. The staff was so patient, taking the time to explain the parking situation and giving us fantastic local food recommendations. What truly stood out was their help when the airport lost our luggage. They were so supportive, constantly replying to our messages and helping us track the status until it arrived. We can’t thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism. This is the best hotel—don't hesitate to book!
Just completed a 2 night stay at the Room Mate GORKA and very pleased we selected this property. In every way, we found this hotel to be excellent from the welcome chocolate, amenities and above all room comfort. Check in was seamless and while the double room we had booked was excellent with a beautiful view of the square, we opted with the team’s help for the larger loft suite for a mere 10 euro per night upgrade. Thank you Widad who was so kind, patient and helpful - a real Ambassador for the hotel (as were all staff encountered!) The extra space and quietness of the loft (excellent soundproofing), in spite of arriving on Saint Sebastian day which is an exciting experience to behold, didn’t impact our sleep quality. Amazing bed and pillows - slept best of our trip. Smart TV worked flawlessly so we could watch a Netflix movie on 50” screen. Wonderful shower and full amenity kits with all the trimmings, not to mention quality products but not over powering with scents which we are not a fan of - these were just right. Checkout equally great where the woman at front desk ( I apologize for blanking on your name) helped store our luggage and arrange a taxi for us making for a smooth transition to our next destination. San Sebastián is all its hyped to be - beautiful city, safe, culture and food rich and the Room Mate GORKA only added to it. Thank you!
We stayed in a duplex room in December. The room was sooo comfy and very clean, with a window that opened up. That time of year was pretty cold and a bit wet but it was nice to get some fresh air into the room occasionally. The staff are really lovely and happy to answer questions and give great restaurant recommendations. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring San Sabastian on foot and only minutes walk to the beach and old town. The hotel breakfast is a good place to start your day with a pretty good selection of local foods, pastries, fruit etc there is even a bloody mary station haha Would definitely stay here again.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of San Sebastian. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The steamer was a welcome addition, pillow menu and luxury dyson hairdryer! The team are so attentive and provided us with plenty of local recommendations and made us feel so special on our wedding anniversary with welcome wine and handwritten note ❣️ This is the perfect hotel to explore La Concha Beach and Old Town and we enjoyed returning to each evening. You made our holiday in San Sebastian so memorable we would not hesitate to return! A 10/10 hotel. Thank you
We recently stayed here for our honeymoon and it was just the most incredible experience and definitely the highlight hotel of our Spain trip. The front desk staff were so wonderfully helpful, the buffet breakfast was fantastic (even with a bloody mary station!), and the rooms were beautifully appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the housekeeping made us feel so welcome with beautiful handwritten notes for us and a very special welcome to our room for our honeymoon. Thank you for looking after us so well!
