This was the worst experience I have ever had. The room and beds were fine given the low price. What was not okay was the cleanliness. The sheets were yellow on most of our beds. One of the beds had stains of poop on them. Yes, you read that correctly. Two members of my group had the courage to smell it, and confirmed that there was no mistake. It was human feces. Avoid this place at all costs

The Pension San Telmo is in a good location in the middle of old town San Sebastián with all the great Pintxos bars. The price point is good but only if you’re staying a few nights. The walls are thin and there is an open space underneath the room door so you can hear everything. People are loud and come in late after drinking or make a lot of noise early in the morning. The beds are hard and extremely uncomfortable and I ended up leaving earlier than I planned due to the uncomfortable beds. Rooms are made every day and the bathrooms are cleaned and the cleaning lady is nice.

A cheap guesthouse to stay if you're just looking to rest for the nights. All the basic were there and the toilets are cleaned daily. The room will be abit small but for the price point, I would say worth it. The only downside was the ventilation, which requires you to open the balcony door.

Very comfortable and perfectly situated for bar and pintxos exploring.

The location of this guesthouse is excellent. It's in the city's Old Town, and as soon as you step outside, you'll find some of the most classic bars and restaurants. The property is fine, but it could use a bit of cleanliness. The room wasn't bad, but it had very little light; between no light coming through the window and the dim lighting, it was a bit uncomfortable. However, the overall experience was good. The service was good, and we didn't feel cold at all, something I consider important. There are two bathrooms. They were fine, although we didn't have much luck with other guests because they sometimes left them a bit dirty. However, the service tried to clean them regularly. If you want to visit San Sebastián for a weekend and not pay too much, this is a good place.
