5 / 5 We really enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel very well located in the old district of San Sebastián right next to key tourist sights and the bulk of pinxto bar/restaurants.
The room itself was clean, modern decoration, great shower and comfortable bed. We particularly enjoyed the sea view across the bay. The staff were accommodating to change a sofa into a bed and helpful with information. The breakfast was limited but tasted good. Overall, would definitely recommend!
5 / 5 Lovely boutique hotel in a brilliant location on the edge of the Old Town in San Sebastian. Walk 30 seconds and you're right in the heart of the action. Lovely helpful staff who all speak excellent English and go out of their way to help you. In our case that meant helping us make dinner reservations on both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. We paid for a slightly bigger room, which was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The bed was great and the vathro was a joy to use. The shower was one of the best I have used in Europe. There is a small breakfast/bar area that we only used a couple of times, but the food was great. My only criticism, and it's a minor one, was that we were staying in winter and the room was a little hot. I have no idea how they were hearing the room but I could've done with it set a couple of degrees cooler. Despite that I would have no hesitation in staying here again and would be happy to recommend it to anyone visiting San Sebastian.
4 / 5 Pros: The service was really nice, helpful with any questions, greets you with a glass of wine at check-in while explaining everything, etc. The location is also amazing, right on the edge of Old Town walkable to all the bars and restaurants, but also right on the edge of the bay next to the water. Despite it looking like it might be a loud location with tons of young people drinking outside the bar next door, our place faced the back alley and was super quiet. The 2-bedroom apartment is a great option when traveling with 2 couples, complete with little kitchenette and living space — this was really the biggest reason I picked this spot.
Cons: While the 2-bedroom apartment is quiet because it faces it the back streets, that means it also doesn’t have much of a view and one of the bedrooms is super dark. My hair dryer stopped working after 1 minute, the coffee machine leaks, the internet is very spotty, and the beds and pillows are some of the hardest I’ve slept on.
5 / 5 Wonderful service, very comfortable, and beautiful views! I will 100% stay here the next time I come back.
My only feedback is for the hotel to provide instructions for how to drive to the hotel, since most of the roads are pedestrian only. As a reminder for anyone driving, you need to reserve a car spot in advance. There was a guy who did not and he was very rude to the receptionist.
4 / 5 Rooms are smallish but clean. Noise from sunset to midnight very loud with windows open as it is a popular hang out to watch sunset and have a drink. Good position in old town and on the marina.
