Alto Santiago

Currently on a motorcycle tour of Spain-Portugal-Picos. This was my first stop after getting off the ferry. I arrived at gone 4pm with no symptoms. As I was riding the next day I started to become more aware of itching. When I finally arrived at my next stop and took a shower the full extent of the problem became apparent. I had been mauled by bed bugs. I know as this happened to me on a trip to Thailand. I stayed in room number 1. I noticed in the reviews that the owner replied on a past review that this is the only platform you can post without proving your stay. I am attaching a section of screen shot to this as proof I stayed there. I am now taking antihistamines and constantly applying steroid cream to get some sleep. Oh and a photo of room 1 😕

The location is perfect for unwinding, with wonderful views of the estuary, the mountains, and the Picos de Europa. You can take a short walk down to the beach for lunch or dinner. The hosts' service is warm and friendly, always with a smile on their faces. THANK YOU. There's parking available, which is appreciated. You can sit on the terrace to enjoy the views and the delicious breakfast they serve. A hug.

Perfect for a short visit, the location is close to everything, with parking for guests. Everything is very clean, and the facilities are excellent. Virginia, the receptionist who served us, was very polite and attentive at all times. We appreciate the hostel's kindnesses; a truly appreciated touch.

A beautiful place with spectacular views. The owner and her daughter are charming, very warm and friendly. The room is gorgeous, and everything is very well maintained. It's located right in San Vicente, so you can walk anywhere. 100% recommended. Looking forward to returning!
