We first discovered Camping El Rosal two years ago on a road trip to Portugal – and liked it so much we had to come back. This time, we stayed for a few days and loved it all over again. The campsite is set right next to a beautiful beach and mellow surf spot. Super clean, lots of trees for shade, and a super chill check-in system: no reservation needed – just arrive, walk around, and pick your spot (we needed three and had no problem finding space). Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and everything you need close by – a small supermarket and a few restaurants are just a two-minute walk away. Surf, sleep, repeat – we’ll be back for sure.
Only the one night, but what a great place. Initially I was hesitant about going there as when you drive past the tented area looks grim but when entering the main site it looks much better. We were greeted by a friendly young man who suggested we walked around the site to choose a plot then return with the plot number to book your place. We chose a great location right at the far end overlooking the beach and what a great place to wake up to! Toilets and showers plentiful and clean and close by to where we are pitched. Despite being quite busy it was nice and quiet in the night. We mainly chose to come here to arrange for the dog to have her worming tablets before our return to UK and also as a memory trip to San Vicente having stayed here 20 years ago. All in all a good place.
Oh my god, I'm in love! Amazing place,nice people, i wanted to stay for one, maybe two night, ended up staying 6 nights! I will be back, everyone was really nice, i had a spot for my tent, in the night i was charging my stuff in the bathroom, the security took it to the reception because he was worried somebody gonna steal it... Clean and warm showers, nice toilets and in geleral the mood on the campsite was good. The prices were fair and to the beach its like 2 minutes walking. Everything is close by walking, thanks a lot, i will return :-)
Great campground in an amazing location. Clean showers and toilets, plus plenty of trees that keep the area cool. Our dog was perfectly happy sleeping outside next to our camper. The bay is beautiful, and the dog-friendly beach is just a 10-minute walk away. The old town is charming, with plenty of great restaurants. If you’re looking for the perfect summer camping experience, this is the place!
Stunning location with plenty of pitches. Right next to a long surfing beach and a smaller sunbathing beach. Some small shops and bars within 5 mins walk. Trees offering shade and very quiet at nighttime. Very popular with surfers.
