5 / 5 Together with the pizzeria next door, these must be some of the friendliest square meters in Cantabria!
The hostel and its garden are a great space to relax, and they take hygiene and safety very seriously, together with the comfort of the people passing through. The way it should be.
Thank you to Nerea and the other staff for the great welcome!
P.s. For cyclists: don't consider yourself done until you are actually there, as a final steep climb up awaits you in the last 150 meters!😁
5 / 5 Pretty good albergue, It was perfect! In case you're a peregrine, it's mandatory for you to attend the speak they give at 19h, it will be worth visiting the cliffs!
5 / 5 I received a warm welcome at the hostel and felt comfortable from the very beginning. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, perfect for unwinding and settling in. The young and open-minded team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always up for a nice chat – you can really feel the joy and passion they bring to their work. The steep climb just before reaching the hostel is definitely a challenge, but the view and the hospitality make it well worth it. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates warmth and a sense of community! Cheers jonathan
4 / 5 Good location on top of the hill. Limited cooking facilities. Very friendly staff. Big dorms, slightly crowded feeling. One dorm could not open window. Shower curtains need more regular wash. Mold on them. Building needs a deep clean. Showing signs of humidity issues
5 / 5 Newly renovated previously municipal albergue, now private. OK price of 23€, low season, with breakfast included. It's muesli, cornflake, bread (one small roll per person), natural yogurt (100ml per person), oil (not sure if it was olive oil) tomato paste/butter/jam(one each per person), coffee, tea, chocolate drink, milk. Big rooms with many beds in one room. Welcoming reception, speaks good English. Gave us information about the camino for the next day. Easy reservation and communication by email and WhatsApp.
