El Hostel & Co

Had a one night stay in a private room for 2 adults & 2 kids. Kids loved the four poster bunk bed. Room was clean and had ensuite + aircon. Received a warm welcome from the hostel staff. Having read some mixed reviews before staying, I think some reviews confuse the hostel and the cafe bar. Staff in the hostel were really friendly. Evening staff in the cafe bar were also friendly. The guy running the cafe bar in morning must be the person who is generating all the reviews about rudeness. He certainly was rude and unhelpful about getting breakfast from there. Although he was a bit nicer when he realised we were hostel guests.

Don' to go there. When I booked online , the site said 8 beds dormitory. But when I arrived , I found myself in a dormitory with 20 beds. Besides , the showers are dirty . Only positive fact: next to the bus and train station

The bed pods with heavy curtains provide a nice bit of privacy in the rooms. Location is fantastic for train station and bus station. The main downside is the lack of cooking facilities in the common room. Microwave and kettle is all you get, plus fridge. Restaurant attached so not all is lost, but little in the way of cooking your own meals.

For 150 euros, I expected a bit more. Friendly personnel or owner would make up a lot but with this behaviour you shouldn't be in this business. You kind of want to feel welcome. + Great location if travelling with bus/boat. + Good beds - Luke warm showers - No soap in dispenser - No towels -- Sad breakfast included: one plain croissant or pastry, one coffee, or Spanish tortilla.

This place has great energy. Real locals come here for fantastic food till late in the evening. Great beds. Great pillow. Fantastic area for buses to the airport and 10 mins to the main bar area. The owner will look after you well. Enjoy
