The room we had for 3 nights was lovely. Basically, clean and quite large. It's 500 metres from El Sardinero beach, and a quick 15 minutes walk through a tunnel, brings you out in the centre of Santander bar district.
For the price we got what we expected. The staff is friendly although its easy to lock ourselves out

Very nice and affordable place clean and well managed
I'll start by saying that this stay was a gift, not one I chose. If you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, and tranquility, I must tell you this is NOT the place for you. As soon as we entered the room, we found a huge moth buzzing around inside. The sheets and towels were covered in hair everywhere (I'll attach a photo later), and the hostel was incredibly noisy, as we could hear absolutely everything, even when they opened the front door. It also has no air conditioning or heating, and to top it all off, the ceiling light flickered constantly, so we couldn't keep it on. Finally, the bed is a box spring, and for a double bed, it's quite small and incredibly uncomfortable, as are the pillows (I left with neck and back pain). The stay was quite uncomfortable; I wouldn't repeat the experience. It's better to pay more and stay somewhere better. The only good thing was that the guy at reception was super friendly and that it's well located.
