2 / 5 The property itself was fine, but the owner/manager had an unhelpful attitude. He refused to speak Spanish and, rather than looking for a solution, he just kept arguing about it.
I chose to leave without using the facilities, even though I had already paid for the night.
I speak English, but that doesn’t mean I should be forced to use it in my own country, Spain, especially when my mother tongue is Spanish.
5 / 5 The owner was unbelievably kind and offered incredible amenities! The shower was perfect, but we also got to use a heated drying shoe rack, a washer & dryer, and comfortable beds! The owner also dropped a bag of forgotten items directly to us 15km up the road! Our stay was absolutely perfect, we can’t recommend it enough!
5 / 5 After researching where to stay in Sobrado, I knew Albergue Lecer was going to be the best option, and after my experience, I can confidently say I wasn’t wrong.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, and the laundry machines worked perfectly (in other hostels, you often have to run the dryer more than once to get your clothes dry).
Stan was so kind to me and my mum. We arrived at the albergue after a heavy rain, and he provided us with everything we needed to dry off. He has a lovely sense of humor and is great to talk to.
Based on my experience and research of hostels along the Camino de Santiago, I can guarantee this is the one that prioritizes amd cares about the user experience the most.
4 / 5 The albergue dad and His Dog are the best part of It brought my Friends some Terea tobacco stix from another town .
The showers are perfekt Rain heads .
Sleept Like a princess
Came tired and leaved renewed .
5 / 5 Stan is outstanding, mixed with a bit of good sarcasm. We were at our max for bunk rooms but he found us a private room. It was an entire apartment which was much more than we needed but we appreciated the quiet. We both had a great nights sleep which was what we needed.
