The guesthouse is situated on a little hill- a small stroll from Somo (great for digestion after dinner :) For surfing, we just took the board and walked 2 minutes towards the ocean and had a great overlook on the beach and surf spots. small path down to thr beach through lovely forest and dune. The room in the guesthouse was very pretty, the bed comfortable, shower very nice and everything very clean. The room was cleaned every day and we got new towels every day, too. Alicia, the hostess, is super friendly and lovely and greeted us always with a smile. A wonderful stay!
The house is beautiful, the garden even better, the location perfect, the service friendly and very attentive, and the breakfast ideal.
The campsite is great, especially if you like fishing! The toilets could have been cleaner and a little investment wouldn't hurt! Choose a good, shady pitch as it gets very hot. Everything else was fine!
The location is undoubtedly fantastic, and the house offers many possibilities, especially in good weather. The bedrooms are spacious and each has a private bathroom, which is always appreciated. Things to keep in mind are that the large living room doesn't have enough sofas for so many people, and what could have been a great meeting place ended up not being so because of the uncomfortable wooden chairs. Another thing that isn't a negative, but does make it difficult for large groups to stay, is the kitchen, which is equipped but very small. Overall, it's a good house for spending a few wonderful days. The hostess is also very attentive and always available for questions or any unexpected events.
Posada Casa Aurelio is a very beautiful house with a very spacious garden for the enjoyment of all our guests. We really enjoyed our five-day stay. My partner and I enjoyed it a lot, not to mention my dog with her wonderful garden. Alicia is a lovely person and a good host. We had no problems at all. She made our arrival easy and helped us decide which places to visit. The breakfasts were very good, with typical regional pastries (some homemade), toast, and a good cup of milk or coffee. The room was very clean every day. The house was very clean and well-maintained. The house has a very good location near the beach and with the mountains at its back. It's also in a perfect location for visiting Cantabria's attractions. We left delighted. We'd definitely come back if we could, even though the weather wasn't very good.
