I was so pleased with this hotel! The elderly gentleman (Pepe) at the front desk was the happiest, friendliest, jovial, hip-hoppity person I've met so far on the Camino. The rooms were great, very quiet, beds very comfy, great water pressure in the shower, and fantastic coffee served alongside an excellent free breakfast (included in room cost). I highly recommend this hotel.
Loved it! I received a very kind welcome (and a pin!), the service was great (the receptionist was really lovely!) and the breakfast is enormous and you can choose from many different things. A great indulging stop for pilgrims
We love Pepe!!! He’s so happy and loves caring for the people who eat and stay here!! We gave this 4 stars because the beds were uncomfortable. They need to be a bit softer.
We stopped here on our Camino del Norte journey. After four weeks of staying at many different hotels, this was by far our favorite experience yet. Pepe and the team were wonderful. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and as we set up for another night elsewhere on our journey tonight, we miss them and our stay at their hotel. They have been very kind and giving to pilgrims for 20+ years. The room was spotless, looked newly remodeled, and was very comfortable. We even said it should be a 4 star hotel. We hope to come back again someday.
Pepe is a legend of both the Camino and hospitality he makes you feel right at home from the moment you check in it is a must stay no matter what. Offer him some wine or beer when you stay he might not take it but nonetheless he deserves it
