4 / 5 Great house in a beautiful village.
The good:
The house and the location are very good.
The bad:
There's no outdoor cover, like a pergola or something similar.
If you have a very sunny or rainy day, you can't do anything in the garden.
Both the table and the barbecue are outdoors.
4 / 5 The house itself is a 10, but the beds have terrible mattresses and the sofa is more uncomfortable than a camel ride.
2 / 5 The house is large and beautiful from the outside, but the interior leaves a lot to be desired: the furniture is old and the sofas are covered with ugly, dirty-looking covers. It needs maintenance, the exterior gate doesn't lock, and the laundry room is dirty and neglected, not worth the high-season price. It's also next to a terrace that can be very noisy at night.
3 / 5 A very pretty rural house from the outside, but in urgent need of an interior design project: very old furniture, sofas covered with fabric, the master bathroom lacks towel racks, the shower is unusable because the jet is so strong that it ends up splashing water all over the bathroom, and the mattresses and bed frames also need replacing. In short, the house is not at all cozy given the price. The owners don't welcome you, nor do they provide information about places of interest (restaurants, supermarkets, health center, etc.), nor do they bother to check if the guests are okay or need anything. The house is adequate, but we won't be returning. I think a week at €270 a night (August 26-September 3) would be a different experience in a rural house.
4 / 5 Everything was great, the only thing we noticed is that it's missing a few things: scissors, a large water jug, and a wooden ladle. But everything else is very new and complete, and the owner is lovely. We'd definitely go back.
