We stayed at El Calleral Apartments and the experience was very good. Communication with the owners was perfect from the very beginning, always attentive and friendly. The apartments are well-maintained, and the stay was very comfortable. On a minor note, the walls are somewhat thin, and at times we could hear the neighbors, although it's a minor detail compared to how well we had a great stay. Overall, highly recommended.
I can't share my experience because, according to Booking, an error meant I couldn't stay and couldn't even find another place, since I had paid in advance... I booked for one night and the apartments thanked me for the reservation, but to my surprise, the day after booking, they told me no, that I had to cancel it because they don't book for less than 4 days... I told them that I had already made the payment and that it was non-refundable. They told me that they would contact Booking so I could cancel the reservation and get my money back... In the end, I did so, and two days went by and I haven't received a response or any money from Booking... I spoke to the apartments, and they didn't answer, telling me to call Booking customer service and sort it out myself because they didn't have the money... So, in the end, I spoke to Booking (the guy who helped me was very nice, by the way), and they told me it would take about 7 to 10 days to refund my money. Money... In the end, I couldn't go anywhere that weekend. And yes, Booking.com did refund my money. But it wasn't my fault because it was a mistake the apartments made with Booking.com, and I paid it myself...
Excellent! From the very first minute, communication was excellent when booking and answering any questions. The house has everything you need, is comfortable, and very clean. Laly and her family made our stay very easy and were even very generous and flexible with check-in and check-out times. They even left a little welcome gift. I would definitely stay again. Warm, modern, and very welcoming apartments. Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped rooms. Close to the coast with wonderful beaches, trails, and views.
