Very pleasant stay at a quiet place just outside Zarautz. Great kitchen facilities!

The best thing about this place is the owners. They are simply wonderful -- agreeable, helpful, non-intrusive yet serviceable. My room was clean and organized, but it shows its age. The bathroom does not have a window so it wasn't ideal, but not bad. The price was really good comparatively. Parking is free. It's a good 10 minute walk to the beach. You'll be away from the noise at night and will be able to enjoy this great little town even more.

The rooms are simple and clean and have a small bathroom with a shower. Everything is very soundproof. There is a common room (kitchen) available. It includes a toaster, stove, (German) coffee maker, espresso maker, and two refrigerators. The whole place has a bit of a hostel feel. The Camino de Santiago from/to San Sebastian begins and ends behind the house. 200 meters away, there is a bar serving excellent pintxos, cañas, and txakoli. Shopping facilities are also in the immediate vicinity (between 400 meters and 1 km). The beach is a 15-minute walk away. A bus stop is about 10 minutes away. From there, you can easily reach San Sebastian (10-30 minutes) and Getaria or Zumaia (15 minutes).

Highly recommended! Clean room, good value, and rural setting with a trail right outside. It's very close to the beach, and Bakarne, the owner, is polite, attentive, and friendly. A lovely place and experience we'll remember! Thank you from us (Room 6). See you soon!

The lady who checked us in was very kind and cared about our comfort and privacy. The room and sheets weren't very clean, but the bathroom was. We had heating, blankets if we needed them, and keys so we could access the room whenever we wanted. The location was good, right at the beginning of Zarautz.
