A very charming hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I wish I could remember her name but the lady at the front desk was an absolute jewel and helped us big time with dealing with storing and charging our electric bikes and parking. We would definitely go back when in the area. The single negative was that our room although beautiful was lacking any windows but thankfully there was a huge skylight so there was plenty of daylight.
The only thing I can attest to is the service (or lack thereof. I was sick as a dog in San Sebastián and unable to travel. Hotel ZERUPE refused to cancel my booking because I only cancelled 24 hours in advance instead of 48. Thumbs down.
Only 20 meters from the old city center and 200 meters from the sea, Hotel Zerupe is a perfect starting place for the discovery of Zarautz. Great valet parking service and a very knowledgeable host (Pablo). He gave us many tips for tapas bars, sight seeing and day trips. Tip from us: there is a very nice bar just across the street with terrific tapas and raciones, a mellow atmosphere and great service.
We booked last minute (as usual…) the staff was so SO nice and flexible with us. They gave us very good advice on where to eat and what to visit. Warm welcome. Rooms are clean and cosy. Great location. Go!
