We had a very warm welcome from the lovely lady at this albergue. She kindly explained everything, gave us plenty of useful information about the area, and shared tips for the next stages of our journey. We could choose our beds, and since there were only a few of us staying, we had plenty of comfort and space. The albergue is located in the city center and has a truly pleasant pilgrim atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The showers are on a lower floor than the dorms, which can actually be an advantage - you don’t disturb others. Thank you, we felt really good here! :)
Unfortunately, I stayed here on the night of September 10–11 and was bitten by bedbugs during the night. In the morning, other pilgrims in the kitchen also mentioned seeing them, and I discovered many bites on my body. It’s a very nice and new albergue, but this issue really spoils the experience.
This is the best hostel we have stayed in so far on the camino. Everything is so well thought out, and the decor is really unique and interesting. The kitchen was well equipped, but the town also has enough restaurants to go out for food. Designed with pilgrims in mind, it’s a great vibe in a beautiful seaside town. And most importantly- I slept so well!!!
There are bedbugs in the hostel, check under the mattress. The lady in the reception lies to people who are coming saying that no bedbus have been reported (even though friend reported them earlier on the same day; then they moved out to other hostel). The owner is negligent about the problem. ( a bedbug )
