If I can give them 6stars, I would It’s a family-run business. The owners were very nice and kind. They offered me a raincoat for my Camino when it was pouring rain The room was clean and very spacious, even with the single room. The location was perfectly on the Camino route. There were 2 supermarkets nearby The price was soo reasonable, actually on the cheap side for me since I booked early I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you very much for your welcoming and kindness. I wish the business grow further and further
The owner, Sara, was very accommodating during my six night stay. I woke up late and she was always there to prepare breakfast. The rooms were very basic, but clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back.
Had a great stay. Shower was hot and good pressure. Coffee was good in the morning. Slept well. What more can a pilgrim ask for. Would definitely return.
We've stayed one night in Hotel Bruselas during our camino de Santiago. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone! The hotel is old. The rooms seem to have been recently renovated but not the mattresses. The mattress looked old and had a dip in the middle. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. More precisely the toilet had pooh from the previous clients. We were shocked and called immediately the reception complaining. Our stuff was still to be unpacked which means we were ready to move to another room. There proposal from the Hotel was to come to clean. Since there was no cleaning staff at that hour any more, the owner of the Hotel came to clean. She cleaned in from of us with a small tissue and a hygiene spray. A very superficial cleaning. The next day we were having breakfast and the same lady (the owner) started speaking indirect to us. Saying the pilgrims nowadays are very demanding, not liked in the old days... The breakfast is to avoid. There is no buffet you can have juice, coffee and chose between a toast or a cake (bizcocho) or a croissant.
I can’t say enough nice things about this place or the owner. She was so welcoming to us on our journey and helped me solve a bunch of other travel issues even using her phone to make a local call. Love love love this place!
