The hostel is clean, good showers, good beds and good breakfast at a fair price. What I think must be improved are the luggage holder drawers under the bed, they offer literally zero security, one can lift the mattress and have access to everything, this is an easy fix, please do it!
Great room. Clean, comfortable, well laid-out. Super friendly and kind staff. Lovely breakfast. I loved that there was a place setting for each individual! I would highly recommend. I stayed in a room solo with two single beds.
I was given a key to the room and kept it locked at all times. I went out for the afternoon after check in and, when I came back, my room was wide open. Cleaners had been in and aired matresses. My ear buds and charging cable were gone from my bag. The hostel was unmanned so I was unable to report this in person so I have contacted the hostel four times on their contact form and email addresses on their website and no-one has contacted me. Also, it says on the website that breakfast is included but I was told it wasn't; this was the reason I chose to book there vs. other places. Out of a month of travelling, this was the only bad experience. If the hostel contacts me, I will edit this review. But it has been a month now of contacting them and hearing nothing back.
Located in the streets with the "Umbrella Sky Project". Very nice hostel, lovely and hard-working hostess. You can take nice walks around the city, beautiful flora and fauna. At the reception desk you can also get a city map for certain trails like urban art, nature walk etc. Only stayed for one night and had bad luck with the other guests though that were immensely loud and inconsiderate at 5am while packing their stuff. Which is, of course, not the hostels fault. One star removed because of the light motion detector in the sleeping area that really gets on your nerves at night and in the morning when you try to sleep and it switches on whenever someone slightly moves in front of his/her bed. All in all a very great hostel with a superb location and lovely design.
Beautiful, new and cosy youth hostel. Very handy for pilgrims on the Santiago way. Generous buffet breakfast included.
