Nice small hotel right in the city center. Friendly staff. checkin was done within minutes. they offer breakfast for additional 4 eur (didn't try because i left very early in the morning). You can find free car parking in the streets nearby (there were lots of free spaces at Largo 1º de Maio - just 3min walk from the XPT away). Rooms are simple but nice furnished. Wifi is working. Beds are comfy and there are extra duvets in case its getting cold during winter time (you can also heat up the room with the A/C - but I do not like the noise that airconditioners make during my sleep). Neighboorhood is quiet during nighttime even though you're basically right in the city center. You can enter end exit the XPT 24/7 with the provided keycard. Several small restaurants and shops in walking distance. Totally recommended for a stay in Agueda.
It felt like a new hotel. It is located in a narrow building near the waterfront. Staff was wonderful and accommodated our bikes inside the lobby to keep them safe. Also graciously made arrangements for our early departure. Rooms were like any modern well appointed business hotel. It is a small town so we struggled to find somewhere serving dinner Sunday night but eventually we found some options.
Rooms are nice, clean and size is ok. Plusses: Cheap Clean Friendly service Breakfeast included Minuses: Tv is Ipad size. No minibar (to cool down drinks etc.) No eggs/bacon for breakfeast :)
Top hotel in the city centre. This is what you're looking for after a long day of hiking. Clean rooms, complimentary bottle of water. In short: taken care of!
We enjoyed our stay at XPT Hotel in Águeda during our Camino Portguese. Communications with the host, Tiago, were frequent and effective. Our room was clean with very comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast the next morning was great. Highly recommend.
