Silvina Ferreira Guesthouse

I arrived as a pilgrim by foot (bit tricky to get here without a car) and received the most loving welcome on my Camino! Everything was booked and I was about to cry if there's no room here either, but they keep one just for pilgrims. There's everything one needs, aircon, shower,washing machine. The owner and the receptionist is very kind and help with anything, speek good english too. Thank you for everything!

I am a walking pilgrim, and I stayed here in September 2021. It’s hard to describe, but the staff and owner extended immense generosity and kindness to me in a time of need, for which I will always be grateful. Words don’t do justice acts of kindness. The accomodation itself is clean and safe.

Welcoming and safe pension for pilgrims. Since the pilgrim hostel in Alpriate has closed, this is a good alternative to stay on the way from Lisbon to Vila Franca de Xira. Fábio, who works at the guesthouse, told me they will always try to find a bed for pilgrims. Everything was very clean, pilgrims can wash their clothes for free and there is an outdoor kitchen (although no fridge). The room had wifi and air conditioning. There is a nice garden with orange and fig trees. The road in front of the guesthouse is quite busy, though, and you might hear some cars passing by during the night.

Decent basic motel type lodging with a friendly welcome and very good value if you are just looking for a simple base outside Lisbon (30 min drive to centre). We used for a one night stopover.

Appears to be closed. The gates were locked, the information about rooms had been painted over. I phoned the number that was on the door but there was no answer.
