A very spacious, atmospheric, and beautiful house with an incredible outdoor area. We felt extremely comfortable - there were plenty of bedrooms, and everything was thoughtfully arranged for maximum comfort. It was also spotlessly clean. The hosts even left breakfast for us, which was completely unexpected and such a lovely surprise - thank you so much! The bathroom was stocked with various essentials, which was very convenient. There’s also a pool table and a foosball machine (1 euro per game), which is a fun bonus - though unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy them. There is a swimming pool as well, but sadly it had no water during our stay, and we weren’t informed about that in advance. We were a bit disappointed, as it would have been great to know ahead of time - but it’s okay. Overall, it’s a stunning place, and we’d be happy to stay here again. Thank you so much!

Our stay at A Casa das Barreiras was simply spectacular. The house combines rustic charm with all modern comforts. The setting is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for disconnecting. The hosts were kind, attentive, and took care of every detail. A welcoming, beautiful place, highly recommended for relaxing and enjoying an authentic experience.
Mas que bela casa num local tão bonito e sossegado! Fomos muito bem recebidos pela dona, muito simpática e amigável, deixou-nos com total à vontade para usufruir da casa. A casa está completa, tem tudo o que precisamos e tem um espigueiro muito bonito cá fora que fez as delícias dos miúdos e graúdos! Tem aquecimento, várias casas de banho, mesa cá fora, churrasqueira com excelentes condições, televisões, vários espaços diferentes e todos muito bem decorados com bom gosto! A casa e seus enfeites tem muitos pormenores que mostram o bom gosto e requinte dos donos. A vila com o seu imponente mosteiro e os seus percursos pedestres como a rota da pedra e da auga e seu caminho espiritual e sua aldeia labrega também nos surpreenderam! We had a truly special day as a family. We absolutely loved the house, and the location is spectacular, with attention to every detail. Everything was perfect for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Tere is a wonderful host, so warm and attentive. We can't wait to come back!
