This place is amazing!! Very relaxing, we enjoyed great evenings at the patio, and the service is great! The staff will make you feel so welcomed, with a feeling of coming to a friends home. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the meals are great, and the best, if you are in the Variante Espiritual of the Camino Portugués, they will pick you up from the Armenteira Monastery, and drop you off back to the Camino the next morning, Ana is so nice!! We really enjoyed our stay, and I’m looking forward to returning!
We had the pleasure of encountering exceptional hospitality from the owner. When unforeseen circumstances led to a last-minute change in our travel plans, they graciously allowed us to cancel our reservation without penalty, despite it being just one night before our scheduled stay. Their understanding and flexibility eased our worries and left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, we could not experience the magics of this place. Definitely need to return and plan better next time. Thank you for your kindness and understanding.
The staff here are Amazing. You are 1.8 km from Camino and I was concerned but they told us they would pick us up at monastery and take us back in the morning. I requested to attend pilgrim mass at Monastery and they drove me and picked me up. The rooms are very nice and clean. The whole atmosphere is welcoming. The icing on the cake was the Stamp in my Camino passport...wax see pics. I highly recommend this place.
I’m leaving a review before I’ve even checked out because I love this place so much. This is the best place I have stayed on my Camino. The hosts were so warm and made me feel at home. They accommodated my dietary restrictions, drove me to and from the pilgrim mass, and did a load of laundry for me. I’m so grateful for their kindness and hope to make it back here again one day!
Easily one of my favorite stays at any place ever. So glad we stayed here. Clean, new, comfortable. But what really stood out was the service and food. We felt like family there and our only regret was that we weren't staying longer. The sisters we interacted with were delightful. The food was great. Their camino stamp was really cool too. One of the highlights of our camino.
