(From our stay in late Sep-24) Really smart modern hotel that I sort of got the impression might be struggling a little with their overheads unfortunately. Nevertheless, the twin room was an excellent size with good modern decor and some cool design choices in the bathroom. Very comfortable bedroom, and some nice extra touches as you would expect from a higher end hotel. Spotless throughout too. They even have a pool you can access from the end of your hotel room, but the autumnal weather put paid to any ideas of enjoying that. Welcoming and friendly staff and an excellent breakfast in a chic restaurant. They didn't offer dinner there when we stayed (late September) but the local pub/restaurant was surprisingly good after seeing the singing nuns in the monastery at 7pm... which you must do if you stay overnight in Armentiera!

In the middle of a tiny village that has two restaurants and a monastery. It's a bit of an eye sore when you come in walking the Camino de Santiago through the forest. Lovely rooms with private outside space with lawn chairs and mini table. Nice outdoor pool. Gave 3 stars for service because what we most wanted when we arrived after walking 25 km was a beer but they didn't serve any alcohol.

We spent two days here. The staff was great! I appreciated the fruit selections from the breakfast! I would have loved to have a different kind of coffee and not Nespresso but that's really a small wish, not really something needed. The beds were amazing and the rooms in general were well worth the money.

We were on the camino and it was drizzling and cold when we arrived. Was directed by the receptionist to use the coffee machine which make the long walk to the hotel worth while.

Bask in the days this hotel must have been a marvel, but not it feels like the shadow of its former self. Lots of empty spaces, the wood that dominates the hotel looks old. Welcome to the hotel was a bit strange. The room was spacious and interesting, but again dated. Location is good to explore Armenteira and to La Routa de Agua e Pedras.
