I really enjoyed my stay with Rosie and Pete. I felt really welcome and was grateful that I could join their family meal. I love the simplicity of this place and feel the love and work they put into it. They are on the original road from Fatima to Santiago (or the other way around) and you can only find them on Google. Definately a great pelgrim experience.
Albergue Ibon is a pilgrim's must visit - it's a hidden gem. The phenomenal atmosphere, I felt just like visiting friends. A very inspiring couple in many ways, they made magic from the ruins but kept the real rustic feeling. Dining experience at Michelin level. Thank you for your hospitality, great talk and showing me around. It's donativo but be generous, so they can continue to make camino better.
Steve and Rose were so wonderful! After a long way, my sister and I arrived and ate with them very delicious home-made meals. They have a beautiful place. It felt like home and being with family. They are so loving and kind. They even gave us some food to pack for the next day. I'm so grateful to have met them and shared this experience with them! Thank you Rose and Sreve!
I loved meeting Rose and Steve and staying in the most comfortable bed. They warmly welcomed me into their humble abode and I loved their company and energy. Open minded free spirited generous and funny. The food they made was delicious. Thank you
Friendly people, great house, amazing garden. Make sure your caminho to Fatima goes via this house, like it used to was. and follow the blue arrows on the stones.
