Stopped here on El Camino de Santiago. The bar area was nice but the hostel experience left much to be desired. The bunk room had no windows - only a door to the road that others insisted on keeping closed - so there was no air. The women's bathrooms had no toilet paper or hand soap either day.

I have to say that staff were welcoming and lovely, especially that guy with long hair running the show alone 💫 But room was super stuffy and no chance to open windows as there is so much noice from outside road, beds were not comfy and rooms planned not the best way, no blankets and towels, people smoking in the hallway, some questionable people washing up in the women bathrooms… food very basic but ok Place with a lot of potential but some little improvement is a must 🙏🏼

I didn’t stay here, so only commenting on the food. I had a burger here and for 6.5€ it was definitely worth it! The chicken sandwich was good too and both were big portions. Also the coffee was delicious and lastly their stamp is nice.

It’s a super clean hostel with mostly very friendly staff. Samo spoke English so he was a very helpful bartender telling me about the different liquors that I’d never seen before. As a lone traveler I appreciated his chat when he had time. These are some of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen. They hustle trying to take care of all that is going on, and it’s a lot as this place appears to be a popular local spot as well. I didn’t use the pool but it was clean and had a nice temperature. The free dryer was awesome!!! The beds had a private shelf and electricity which it should. The linens were fresh and clean and new and a nice comforter option made it super cozy. The mattress itself seemed to have a depression in it but I slept well. I did wonder if they have enough showers and toilets. I saw only one of each for men on my floor, but there were only a few guests so I don’t know how busy they get. I did think the place lacked a comfortable common area where you could relax without having to lay in bed. I walked around town and this was the liveliest place from what I saw. Especially on a Sunday. The food was delicious and only $10 for both dinner and brekkie the next morning.

Stopped in hoping for a warm welcome and a decent bite after the road dust of the Camino. What I found was a limited selection and options, service that felt distracted at best, and prices that seem to assume every pilgrim’s got deep pockets and no sense of local value. Maybe it’s fine for a quick coffee, but there are better, more soulful places along the trail that don’t take advantage of weary walkers. This café felt more like a tourist trap with a view of your wallet.
