Wonderful place to stay. The lady was absolutely a gem, offered us to use her own toilet as there were someone having a shower in the one for guest. The kitchen had everything you could need to make a nice meal. The place was clean
It a very nice place to stay. There are private rooms for 2 people if you arrived early. 12 euros per person per night. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is free food for everyone to use. And very nice view on the balcony.
Rooms were not clean. Beds sheet didn't look like clean. The floor was also full of hair/crumbles/dust like if cleaning was an option. I thought for one night along the Camino I could bear it. But then after few days I was full of bedbugs bites and it def didn't worth it. I didn't read reviews about this hostel before booking because yolo. I was reading the reviews only after. Like a horror movie review. I hope you will read this before booking. And general suggestion: if you see something is too dirty along the Camino don't hesitate : change the hostel! It will save time-money-nerves Buona Strada to all!
DO NOT STAY I would give O stars if I could Made a reservation the night before our stay by calling then messaging on WhatsApp. We arrived and there is a number to call to unlock the door. After waiting an angry lady appeared and told us they were full. When I showed the reservation messages from 12 hours before (same number as the door) she told me my ‘phone was broken’ and slammed the door in our faces. Reading through reviews this has happened to other guests too, apparently due to their nationality. Do not support this attitude, stay at the much nicer albergue down the street. Don’t risk getting stranded for the night.
