Very good hostess. We enjoy the stay. Good location. Beautiful town.

Stayed here for one night going to the south. I didn’t saw any of the hosts, got all the info and room key and it was simple. The bed was ok and had enough blankets for the temperature it was. The toilet was small but for purpose. I woke up really early, otherwise I would probably be awoken by some noise around 7am. The sound isolation is not good, as one would expect from an old house. I was awaken in the middle of the night by a drunk couple from the street. Even though the room was for 3 people it only had towels for one. The location is very good, has some places close by to park the car, and has a great outdoor exercise area 5 meters away. It also has a good bakery, a supermarket and a restaurant very near by ☺️ Great location! I was alone I think, and that is why I had a peaceful night, I assume that if the place has a lot of guests it probably is noisy. I paid less than 40€ so it was a great ratio quality price, hence the 5stars. If it was 50 I would give it maybe a 4 or 3

We had no booking and just turned up hoping for a room. Owner John was very helpful and showed us to a beautiful room. The house is very traditional and has a great story behind it. Very central and close to shops, restaurants, park, and station. Great rooftop terrace where we had breakfast in the sun.

It's not worth the cost. The house is old and very poorly insulated. Unfortunately we were not given any blankets for our bed either. There were no toiletries either. The kitchen is poorly equipped and there is no room for pantry. Do not book for more than 1 night here...

I am walking the Camino Portuguese and it has been super hard to just show up in a town and find accommodation since most things are sold out. I called the listed phone number and the owner picked up and was able to get me inside to my room within 5 minutes. It’s best to book a room in advance though since you need a code to get in. It’s a very lovely stay and I have 0 complaints. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate me and were very welcoming.
