the room was small but warm, pretty and well kept, and meets the comfort needs of a traveler. the bath tub was a huge bonus for a very tired and sore pilgrim. this was pretty much the only lodging available in winter. It is a bit expensive but not way beyond the average for Baiona
Stayed at this hotel for five days last October while renovation at my home were underway. The hotel is located in the center of Baiona, there are many restaurants and bars nearby. Room's are small but very clean, 42€ for patio view, room's with marina views are larger and cost more. Tub shower combo, which is great. Staff were very nice to me. Great burger bar restaurant on main floor with very large patio area. Burger with fries 9€, great selection of drinks. Fast service too.
Room 102 has an amazing view on the coast and castle, with the morning sun shining straight onto your face when you open the curtains in the morning ! Really hard to do better than this I think.. rooms were clean, everything as just great for a short stay !
Well located but confusing when you first arrive; usually there's no-one in reception so you have to go to the bar and, even then, it seemed as though several employees weren't fully aware of the processes. Despite advertising Wi-Fi, this doesn't extend to the rooms so is useless. The rooms themselves are acceptable but are very dated in terms of decoration, plus incredibly noisy due to a complete lack of insulation from the noise outside - for anyone wanting a good night's sleep, look elsewhere. As a result, the price is barely justifiable and I wouldn't return here nor recommend it to anyone else.
Good staff. Clean. Good value for money. Excellent location. Will use it again
