The place looked really nice. Clean and tidy, with a good view from the window. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience here. The working hours in CaminoNinja are outdated. In november 2025 it was open only 14-20. It is written on the door, but the receptionist did not warn me. So my backpack was locked inside, at 20:40 nobody picked the phone. I had to book another place to sleep. In the morning it was also impossible to recover my belongings until at 11 there with contact phones turned off. So be attentive if you choose this place.
Quite good. Modern style. Negative things are: - The employees taking care of the albergue don't speak English and mainly work in a restaurant nearby. A whatsapp number is not provided. So when having questions it's necessary to go to the restaurant and show the question in Google Translate to the employees. And that is only possible during the opening hours of the restaurant, which are stated wrong in Google Maps. - No bed cover at all. The hostel should at least provide normal or thick bed covers if the pilgrim has a sleeping bag / sleeping bag liner. For a pilgrim without sleeping bag it would be okay to charge some euros for cleaning the bed cover. - Here in the reviews a heating was mentioned. There was no heating during my stay in March. - hard mattress and uncomfy pillow.
Nice modern auberge. However, the place has some strange flaws. When you use toilet at night, the light goes of. You have to ooen the toilet room door and wave with your hands to get the light back on for 20 seconds. I guess that the motion detector was placed in the wrong spot. Further, there is a full handicapped bathroom on the second floor (without toilet paper) but is not handicapped accessible because of steps...
Modern & comfortable place. Can’t make reservation, just come and get the bed. Price is so attractive -€5👍 comfortable bed, great window view and has good kitchen & Landry
Very modern and well equipped. Even had a lid on the gents urinal! Wow! Amazing for the €8 price. May be different at busier times but in November I had to enquire first at Cantinho do Peregrino restaurant on the nearby main street. Here is also served good value meals from a pilgrims' menu.
