Spent one night here whilst waking through Barcelos. Guest house was super clean, comfortable and well decorated. I stayed in the 2nd floor room which was like a mini apartment. It was roomy, had a small kitchen with appliances and a nice kitchen table to eat at. Checkin staff was super friendly and recommended the Christmas display in the town hall and the Christmas lights in town. Both were spectacular. Morning breakfast at the cafe next door was included with the room. Will return for a longer stay soon.
The room was clean and comfortable. We had an attic room which with sloping eaves but as the layout was well thought out there were no incidents of bumping our heads! Location convenient for the Camino and close to town to explore in the evening.
We stayed a week here in one of the apartments and enjoyed a wonderful stay here. Although it was very hot, the room stayed cool as it is in an old building, with air conditioning. We slept very well, and looked out over the square but were not disturbed by noise from the bar below. Check in, and breakfast, is at the adjacent Bar Historial which is also excellent. Our room was very well appointed and tastefully designed. I would recommend Casa da Ana to anyone visiting Barcelos.
Casa de Ana offered us a truly wonderful stay. The rooms were beautifully appointed, the staff exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast was truly amazing. Set in a lovely city, this is a place we wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.
Amazing hotel in Barcelo. The room was very cute and modern. The breakfast delicious. Everything super special. Very clean. Comfy bed. Located on the central camino portuges trail. View of the town and the mountain from my room.
