The owner seems very nice, but the single room was an imposition! It was dirty, it smelled and it looked as if the room hadn't been cleaned since the previous room owner. The bathroom smelled and I couldn't take a shower because I was disgusted... I tried to sleep on the bed in my sleeping bag in my clothes. It was very damp, as were the towels and there was spit or something like that on the floor from the previous people... Wouldn't recommend it (in the off season.)
Amazing value for money. We are hiking the Camino and up to this point we were paying 10€ per person for bunk beds in large dorm rooms and this was 25€ for a 2 person private room with private bathroom. Very good deal. Very kind host. He let us check in early which was nice of him. Very clean.
We were given room 4 which was initially okay. However after looking around more, it did have mould in the room and the room seemed quite damp. There was a heater in the room which helped a little to dry it out and some clothes after a long day walking. We could clearly hear the next room beside us when people were shouting. So hopefully you have quiet neighbours. Unfortunately we had a storm when we were there and the door was not fitted with sealing so you could hear the wind/rain outside. The shower floor was missing tiles and a shower mat was used to cover it. There was only enough hot water to cope with one person showering for 10mins then the other person had to wait until the boiler heated up more water which took a long time. It was fine for the price.
The man who runs the place is very kind and helpful but the place itself and the room we stayed in smelled like sewage. The smell in the morning coming out of the drain in the bathroom made us want to gag. While the gentleman who runs the place is very sweet, I would never stay here again. It's very old and run down.
The man who is owning this place nad his daughter are the kindest and most helpful people! Thank you again for everything! The room we stayed in was clean and had everything you need. There is a kitchen where you can cook and the supermarket is just a few steps away.
