Great place to rest and clean up after walking the camino. It gets quite busy, but not so much that it is noisy. Clean bedding, showers and kitchen, friendly people working and visiting, close to the city center. Has an amazing outside shower that was my highlight.
I am hesitant to write this because every positive thing people have written is true - the hosts were welcoming and kind, the kitchen is well equipped and has free food for breakfast, it has a lovely communal atmosphere, it's in a convenient location, etc. But all that is negated by the bedbug bites both my husband and I got there. I wish I had been warned about the bedbugs, so I am leaving this review for others to be aware. We stayed there in mid June 2024.
Great location, right on the Camino, an old restored house full of charm, lovely back patio/garden and even a salt-water foot bath are available for free. Beds are simple but all is clean, plenty of space to wash/hang dry your clothes or use their machines to wash&dry for a fee and, on certain days, a masseuse is available (fee). Close to restaurants nearby, would recommend and stay again.
Amazing host, I loved that they provided groceries that you can use for breakfast based on donations. The hostel offers an inviting atmosphere. I would definitely come back
