Great place to stay overnight on the Camino. Exactly as advertised. Our room was small but the beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room looks like home with comfy chairs & couches, nice bathroom, small private back yard with picnic tables. We enjoyed the chance to meet other travelers in the common space, while having the privacy of our own room. Francisco is (seriously) the nicest host we've ever met in an AirBnb!
Perfect and cheap place for stay during Camino. After 3 days of choosing cheapest albergues we decided that we would like to take a rest in more comfortable conditions. Xicotina was the perfect choice. Comfortable bed, washing machine, very clean kitchen and bathroom are the things important for pilgrim ls amd tourists. Moreover the owner called us to ask if we feel OK in this place which was really nice from his side and we really appreciated this. Portugese hospitality will stay in our hearts forever!
Very clean and newly renovated shared apartment. Everything in perfect condition and with an extremely helpful landlord on top! Only downside is the close proximity to the street which means you can't sleep with an open window if your room is next to the street. But everything else was A+!
The house was clean, and fit our needs. It was close to the beach and the Camino trail. The owner of Xicotina, Francisco went above and beyond to accommodate us. The owner is a saint, and even checked on us later in the night.
