We received a perfect welcome from the wonderful lady at the reception. This hostel was truly exceptional. We felt very comfortable - not only in the rooms but also in the common areas. The kitchen is well equipped, and the dining area is nicely furnished. The laundry is just across the street, and thanks to its great location, you have shops and restaurants nearby. We honestly didn’t miss anything, and on our Caminho Português journey, this place became one of our absolute favorites! We’d love to come back, thank you! :)
I stayed at Hostel 11 during my Camino in June 2025. The location was lovely (right on the Camino and close by to restaurants/other needed places), the staff were kind, and the hostel itself was clean, had a good shower set up, and a good place to wash your clothes.

Great place for hikers. The beds in the shared rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything one needs. Showers good too, as is the nice kitchen. A cut above most hostels.
I had already heard about this place, which is well-known among pilgrims and frequently mentioned in blogs. I stayed in a single room with a private shower during my return to Portugal from Santiago. The room was clean, and the hosts were lovely, kind people. I must say, it’s a 'Great Value' and a perfect stopover on the Camino route."
