5 / 5 Our Camino pilgrimage legs were grateful for the comfortable room and steamy shower at Hotel Mira Rio. Though not fancy, it had everything a weary pilgrim could ask for. The staff were absolute stars – friendly, helpful, and always there to answer our questions. It may not be luxury, but for a restful night's sleep and a warm welcome, Mira Rio gets a thumbs up.
1 / 5 The accomodation was ok. Very dark and pokey though. The most disappointing thing was the service. I used Google translate to ask if I could check in early (at 1230 instead of 2) and a lady yelled at me in Portuguese and shooed me away. I wasn’t feeling well so it was really upsetting and I felt shaken by the interaction.
4 / 5 When we arrived, they hadn’t registered our reservation (made by an agent), but they found us a very nice room and got the business sorted out with the agent. Breakfast about Portuguese average (so not very good)
3 / 5 Good place, I was expecting a basic English, though I completely agree in the villages in local store and even bar but in hotel where ones are paying a good money yes, I expect that.
Too much plastic bags.
Nice room and really clean!
A bit far from the beach and main restaurant as this place hasn't, it wasn't a problem to me as I love walking.
I raccomended it anyway, and in my opinion, it can be a 3 stars minimum .
2 / 5 Located right on the Camino path and clean rooms.
There was a loud noise heard in the room, we raised this issue the day we cheched in and receptionist reasured they will ask the neighbours to turn off the A&C, the source of the noise in our room was from the A&C in neighbouring room. This did not happen, noise was present all night preventing good sleep.
Breakfast starts at 8, no flexibility for coffee before 8 so left without coffee.
