We inquired about beds in the morning as we walked the path to Fao. Easy to communicate through WhatsApp. We got a double bed in the caravan parked out in the yard, which honestly was a nice change of pace from the usual 6-10 person dorm room. Showers have great hot water, kitchen has everything you need. Friendly family running the place with two sweet cats on 24/7 neighborhood patrol ❤️
A warm welcome for pilgrims. The double room for 2 persons ist big one with a own bathroom. Restaurants are in the near. You can sit outside in the Garden and buy drinks in the hostel for a cheap price.
Very pleasant place to stay, we washed our clothes pilgrim style by hand and cooked a simple meal with some random pilgrims. Bath and showers were modern and clean. Guy at the reception was helpful and friendly, even picked us a fresh Lemon from the trees, since we didn't have vinegar. Only bitter pill was some guy not adhering to quiet time after 10pm and having a load and excited phone call in the mid of the night at 1am and slamming the doors. But it was not the fault of the hostel owner. Thanks a lot for a pleasant stay.
We had a wonderful time at hostel de alto and it has been our favorite place to stay along the camino. Luis was so kind and helpful to us pilgrims after a long day of walking. If you are looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, and very friendly, we cannot recommend the hostel enough!
very nice clean place. Wonderful showers and toilets. A large and comfortable bed in our private room. The girl is very helpful - she called us a taxi when we went to the municipal pool. There is a place to wash and dry clothes. definitely recommend.
