I walked the Spanish Camino 10 years ago and now am walking the Portuguese Camino. Out of both walks, in fact most places I've stayed in Europe this is by far one of the Top 5 Hostels/Albeurges I have stayed in. For 18€ this place would easily be worth double. A great place to put up your feet for a day if you need. Beds were by far the best over all. And comfy living area. 2 x Paralympic Archer from Australia. Taymon 😊
Lovely place to stay at on your camino. Sandra is a very helpful and gracious hostess, offering various insightful tips and tricks regarding the camino as well as local amenities such as restaurants. The rooms are quite well-filled, which can make it seem cramped. Overall there are 3 bathrooms, you will always find one available, even when the hostel is fully booked. The garden with the pool are simply amazing to relax in, there are various seating arrangements. Breakfast is offered at 4,50 € and tastes great.
Hostel is really simple rooms (we had a double), shared bathrooms. Really nice common space and pool. Probably capacity for 15-20 pilgrims? Host/owner is great, super kind, friendly, helpful. Laundry machines available for use, not sure the cost, but it was probably only 1 or 2eur per machine. No A/C but it was cool enough at night to not matter. Would recommend! One of the two best places we stayed during our Camino.
This was the perfect stop off point for us and our dogs en route to Galicia (in the car - I think we were the only ones not doing the Camino! :D). Sandra is the perfect host, and Spot the dog was an amazing playmate for our two dogs. Our room was large and comfortable with a lovely balcony, and great value. Just a short walk from the river. We hope to come back some day!
Lovely place to stay. The host is a very gracious and helpful lady. Only 5 beds in the dorm room. Very nicely decorated. Clean, comfortable and very homely. Nice garden with a pool. Bicycle can be kept in the garden area safely. Nice breakfast offered. Lots of valuable information about routes and places to stay. The restaurant advised for a pilgrim's meal was great.
