Loved the experience! The hotel site is super cute, the staff is super nice, attending to all our different requests, the SPA is lovely, the pool was surprisingly big for the size of the hotel. Also, the food is amazing! Both breakfast and the Capriola restaurant. Recommend it!
I organize horse photojourney's to Portugal every year and we always stay in Hotel Lusitano in Golega. Around 8 years ago we came here for the first time and we were so pleased with everything. The staff, the breakfast but above all the rooms. Nice big rooms with big comfortable beds and a beautiful big bathroom. Especially when you have a group of people who don't know each other yet it is good to have spacious rooms and possibility to offer a single room. We have several photographers who join us for the 5th or 6th time and they always say...."Can we go to Hotel Lusitano again?" And I think that says enough....:-)
A wonderful place to stop on the Camino de Santiago. It is a luxury hotel with a spa - just what you need after a long walk to relax. Attentive and helpful staff are there to welcome you and I particularly want to mention Inês who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.
Super attentive service, peaceful and with complementary use of the spa and garage park. Free wifi at all locations and cable tV is available in all the rooms and common areas. Spacious rooms and baths. We have to return to try out the restaurant.
Are at the restaurant. Food is good. Prices are way above average for Portugal countryside but justified by setting, service, and positioning of the offer. Definitely a higher end offer.
