Such a pleasant surprise just for 10€ per night! Friendly receptionist was speaking few different languages and they accept cards. Rooms are not big but mattresses are thick and super comfortable. I stayed in August so it was pleasant to have a window open. The albergue seems more like a house renovated for pilgrims needs. Showers with very big cabins where you can have some privacy. Also they give free soap and shampoo, also you can find free body lotion. Kitchen is not that big but super cozy. They have washing and drying machines so I could make my laundry here. This albergue has big private yard and park from another side of the building. My stay here was pleasant. But here that have very limited count of beds, some pilgrims were sleeping in living room on couches and armchairs, host helped people on maximum of her capacity but I believe some people had to find another stay for a night.

Lovely albergue to arrive to after a long day. They offered small shampoo and soap bars for free and there were also nice soap dispensers in the showers. The showers were really nice and roomy, with hangers and a stool (you don’t get that at all albergues!) Nice living room area with computers free to use. Outdoor areas were also very lovely with a couple benches and tables - perfect for home cooked dinners in the evening.

I had read the poor reviews about this place and I was doubting my choice but I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I regret it. The albergue is located along the camino way next to a nice green area, in a calm and quiet street. There are washing machines and and dryer but nothing worked. There was no hot water and the kitchen was missing good knifes, cutting boards… some of the mattresses in the rooms were very dirty. As a pilgrim staying in albergues I do not expect any luxury but I can for sure say that most of the accommodations are way better than this for the same price (10€). Overall, the place is not well kept. Such a shame as this albergue could be an awesome place to stay!

I continued walking on to the Albergue in Marinhas because the one in Esposende was full when I arrived. There isn’t much to see in Marinhas, a church and a couple of restaurants, but the Albergue was a nice surprise. They open for check in at 3 PM. There are two good size rooms with dormitory beds and they filled up quickly. The lounge area which was upstairs along with the dorm rooms was nice, with good couches, reading material and a nice sized dining table along with decent WiFi. Downstairs were showers, bathrooms, kitchen, and bike storage area. They even provided single size shampoo, conditioner and soap. I ate dinner at the pizza restaurant couple of blocks away and it was pretty good.

Stayed there in the beginning of the November and it wasn’t bad. The rooms are rather packed and not very spacious. For 10€ you get to choose the bed and disposable sheets, for additional price you can get a blanket. There is a washing machine and dryer (2/3€ each) - a blessing during a wet season. The water in the showers was hot (but you have to wait some time for it to get warmer). The kitchen is rather small, but it had everything we needed (microwave and plates).
