Excellent stay for pilgrims. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Modern hostel accommodation with comfortable beds. Lidl is 5 min walk away and they have a well stocked kitchen for you to cook in. Showers have excellent pressure and hot water. Loved our stay here. Only negative was it was a little walk off the trail and the fact you can only book via email which is very unusual. I would recommend emailing them to book in advance. It was fully booked and we seen a number of people get turned away and have to continue on to the next town

Lady who hosted was a good vibe...I think you have to email or phone I just got lucky she was floating around...only downside I think is I guess it being off season they put you in private room on the cheap 20 euros nice room but you don't have access to any kitchen or even a jug to boil your water however head up the road an hour or so and you hitting pao de deus which is lovely excuse for eating baked goods for breakie

Basic accomodation on the Camino about 1.7k outside Mealhada. Near a busy road but not noisy. Spacious outdoor area. Superb supermarket and good restaurant nearby. Guy at checkin very welcoming. Double room €35 so relatively good value. Very limited kitchen facilities. One staff member very rude.

Tucked just off the Camino with a backside entrance that you can get to by walking through the park, this albergue offers a kind of quiet comfort that settles in your bones after a long day’s walk. It’s clean, relaxed, and unfussy—like your friend’s countryside trailer where no one hovers, but everything you need is within reach. Most beds are singles, not bunks—a small mercy for the weary. Real sheets, blankets, and even hand soap in the bathroom, with a touch of minimalist charm. The roofed patio is a godsend if the skies open up, and there’s wine and beer sold at honest prices. No communal meals, but you’re close to local bars and shops. The Wi-Fi holds strong where it matters, and the vibe is all Camino—supportive but not clingy.
