Bedbugs and Poor Facilities While the reception lady was nice, the accommodation itself was pretty terrible. The women's bathroom upstairs had broken, so us girls had to go downstairs to use the men's room or another bathroom... both were suboptimal. The hostel was freezing cold so I was shivering to and from the shower. They gave us small heaters for the room, blankets, and the beds looked nicely made with several sheets. However when I turned on the lights to pee in the middle of the night, my roomate and I noticed bedbugs! There was no one on the desk at night to report to. I immediately went to a laundromat and washed all my things... but I had already received bites which showed up between 2 and 10 hours later. Nightmare! When I mentioned to the receptionist in the morning that we had bedbugs, she didn't seem phased. Perhaps it was a language barrier but she seemed to speak decent English, and I'm sure any hostel worker knows the term "bedbugs". Would not recommend; was 20 euro per night.
I was very happy with this accommodation. Hosts were very hospitable, friendly and helpful. I had a very comfortable bed, clean and i loved that they provide breakfast. The wax stamp was very nice and making it special when you choose your own colours. I did not expect that. It was easy to walk to the camino route from there, although it took a little bit time to get to the hostel. Thank you very much for helping make my camino easier.
Wow~ I didn’t expected any because it was hard to booking. But, owner was nice and friendly also their family was so~ sweet. First, We go out to dinner but change mind and eat alberque was every Camino get together and wine and food great conversation. What a great time. I will be back next time. Thank you so much for great service and support!!
So far so good, just arrived, towels fresh bed very comfy, reception really, really lovely. The Camino stamp is done with wax, very good. Can't wait for breakfast.
Awesome spot!! Extremely clean & modern, nice beds with bedding and close to a grocery store! My favorite part was the oscillating FAN in the bedroom 👌 👌 Felt like I was in a hotel not a hostel! It is about 10-15 min walk to the city center, so it will add a little more to your Camino but otherwise no complaints whatsoever!
