I stayed during winter and was great! Near the Camino de Santiago so was easy to arrived. Warm and all you need. Break fast really good and way better then all the places I ate during the Camino! As well I forgot some items and they keep it and help me to get it back!
Very good location, Aldi is right next to the hotel. The common area is very pretty, possible to work there and eat a good breakfast, pretty simple but everything that is needed you can eat. Rooms are good, the only minus was that we were cold in the night and sleeping under two blankets that were on the shelf. Probably windows weren't completely secure from the wind. You can hear the neighbours but it was not a problem. Recepcionists speaks English. Had an amazing week over there and for sure will be back in the future.
friendly receptionist and multiple supermarkets nearby. In the shower cabin is an additional shower curtain to protect your clothes from water. negative things are: - street in front of the room window quite noisy. And the windows of the room are not very noise canceling. - at the checkin and on a sign it says breakfast from 8:30am. But when being a pilgrim it's possible to have breakfast way earlier. didnt know that and that should be communicated better. - temperature sensitive food is served in a glass fridge. But the marmelade is located outside. the marmelade had room temperature and was about to be unrefrigerated for at least 1:30 hour more. Not a good food safety... - the glass fridge in the common area downstairs is pretty loud during the whole day - the one power socket in the bathroom is placed quite inconveniently.
It's not great, but it's not pricey either. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our only issue with the noice were the other guests, shouting in the corridor in the middle of the night. The room had the beds, a table with two chairs, a cupboard with two extra blankets and a bedside table. We had one socket near the bed and one closer to the door. The breakfast could be better, but it was not bad at all. Pretty basic.
Rooms as nice and clean and modern. No tv in the rooms and bathroom and showers are very nice. The one downside for me was the breakfast that could be a bit better since its limited to cereals, bread, butter, ham and cheese, coffee and tea and milk. The outdoor balcony was unkept and had cigarette butts laying on the outdoor furniture as there was no ashtray there.
