Vila de Ponte Guest House

Located in the historic center, steps from the Igresia Matriz and The Ponte de Vila bridge. Stores, restaurants, shops. All at walking distance. Very friendly staff. Totally recommended!

I loved everything about Vila de Ponte Guest House. It was a lovely experience. It is on the route to Camino de Santiago and it is exactly what I needed after walking the entire day under a lot of rain. Hot water, comfortable bed, and excellent personal attention. The owner goes beyond to make your stay pleasurable. I was lucky to stay an extra night due to severe weather conditions and she was very accommodating. Definitely recommend the place. Value for your money.

I used the company FollowTheCamino to reserve all my hotels and luggage delivery. Ponte de Lima to Rubiães is my first stage . FTC booked this hotel. I was so surprised at how nice this hotel is. The location is the best because it is in the center of town. The hotel manager is Deanne and she is the nicest person that I have met in my life. From her reaction I can tell she really likes her job because everything is done so well. The room is immaculate. It is large with a bench next to the window. There is a desk for reading. During breakfast, Deanne took the time to chat with me , something that doesn’t happen in many hotels. The breakfast is sumptuous and delicious with rolls and fruit , juice, tea and/or coffee. I highly recommend this place. On the camino, one of the best part is to meet wonderful people and Deanne is one of those. I might not remember all the churches that I pass but definitely I won’t forget the conversation and interaction.

Very clean and nice location. Host is very friendly and attentive. Very nice location. It was in the middle of everything but still very quiet.
