Staff so accommodating they made this so lovely . Rooms dated it’s like stepping back in time but clean . Good shower and quiet location. Breakfast good
The location is directly on the Camino route, just before the Padron bridge. We have got a room with the river view with a balcony. There is a furniture factory on the other side of the river. The factory does not destroy your stay neither by noise or smell. The reception staff is polite and helpful. Some people complain about the smell of the factory (500 m away). We had the worst possible wind coming from the factory, but nothing unpleasant appeared.
Slightly pricey, but a lovely stay nevertheless A tough walk to Padrón, but manageable.
The hotel staff was amazing and super attentive. They offer a transport service to Padrón, which was super helpful. The area where the hotel is located is not as populated and doesn’t have as many restaurant options…The air conditioning unit made a very loud strange noise during the night that kept waking us up. Overall, we really liked the hotel!
Fantastic value, really helpful, cheerful and friendly staff and a good location for local restaurants and amenities. The building is beautiful and has it's quirks in terms of location (personaly I quite like being in a working area away from the regular tourist trappings) and noise (it's an old building being modernised with squeaks and groans associated with such), but in terms of value it's a bargain for what you get. I have stayed in much worse places for double the price. Highly recommended.
