Lovely service, left my ID and they helped me get it back, the place is beautiful. There is Aldi across the street and Pontevedra is a beautiful town. Great stay in the way to Santiago. People inside were loud around 8/9pm for us, which could be a problem if you’re waking up early but we only stayed that one night so I can’t say if it’s a regular thing or a one time. Definitely will come back :))
Great value for your money. Very clean and spacious. One minute from bus and train stations. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice big kitchen. Lots of room to hang your clothes to dry. The only drawback is the lack of windows in some of the rooms. Other than that it is a very nice hostel.
Today we called ahead and made a reservation. After a 13-mile walk, it was nice to have 5 beds in a curtained-off room waiting for us! Nicely stocked kitchen. Microwave only. Grocery store was just a 7-minute walk away. Creative communal area has something fun for everyone. Looking forward to a Spanish version game of Aggravation! later...
A nice hostel with comfortable rooms and clean. Located near train station. For the price I would expect a towel. It would also be nice to control the water temperature in the shower
Fairly basic hostel at the entrance to the town of you're going in on the Camino de Santiago. Kitchen has more than a xunta hostel but still no cooker or hotplate, only a microwave. It's got good showers and nice bed linen. Staff member was very helpful.
