Older clean nice hotel, nice bathrooms, café on ground level staff are excellent. Only two people in elevator at a time. On 6th floor and nose to nose with the wife each trip. Bed very comfortable so a good night's rest on the Camino
Simple dreadful for the price charged. Rooms shabby, electrics unsafe, noisy courtyard with Brocken blinds. The front of house staff were nice and fully recognised the situation. No joy from the management or recognition of the core problems.

Did not meet expectations! Triple room very small and so the bathroom. Quite old! Though near to town centre.
STAY AWAY! Absolutely the worst experience of the Camino Portugues! I was woken by BEDBUGS one hour after going to sleep. I have spent 6 nights of my trip in albergues and 1 in a private hostel but I haven't had such problem before. I wanted something more private to relax on my birthday so I booked a room just for myself. I payed 30€ for bedbugs! Also none of the people who work at the hotel speak English, the rooms are old and dirty, especially the bathrooms. The corridors smell like urine and the internet connection is very close to non-existent. There are weird noises, smells and lights from the kitchen downstairs. I wish I had stayed in an albergue, because I'm 100% sure I would have had a much pleasant birthday-night with 20 other people in one feet-smelling room. Please stay away for your own good!!!
