Room was nice size and clean but a bit dated. The a/c, in room washer, safe and bathroom heater did not work. The card for the offsite parking did not work and there was no attendant in the office till Monday. If they invest a little into getting it up to par it would be a 5 star for sure.
A quiet stay in a hotel with just enough warmth to make you feel human again after a long day on the Camino. The flats are a solid choice—washer, full kitchen, enough space to share with fellow pilgrims. It’s not bursting with Camino spirit, but the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms spotless, and the location just right. Still, the service needs polish—when the washing machine flooded the floor, there was no staff in sight. I found myself mopping it up with a bucket borrowed from the café waiter. First time in a thousand nights on the road I’ve had to play janitor. The potential’s there—just needs a little more soul and a little less distance. A worthy stop for pilgrims who value space and function over frills.
Staff was not kind nor polite, using aggressive sarcasm is not how you greet clients. Made me feel uncomfortable. I booked my stay online and the images on the advertisement were nothing like what I got into. The room smelled like sewer and had spider webs on the corners. The shower was nothing more than a rubber mat on literally on the same floor as the rest of the bathroom, not very hygienic if you ask me, and because there was nothing separating the bathing area to the rest of the bathroom the whole place was wet once I was done. The TV was not working since it had no signal, the lamp on the side of the bed had no light bulb, the so called free WiFi was not working on my room. The kitchen was very poorly equipped as it was missing basic items as a frying pan and a cloth to grab the stuff from the stove. The forks were greasy and one spoon had a bunch of hairs on it. No point on going any further than this... Overall a complete disaster, strongly advise NOT to book anything here.
Ok the rooms are a bit old, but stil the one bedroom is great, staff very friendly and a great 2 day stop on the camino.
Clean and large rooms, very friendly staff. Good value for money. Close to the old town but quiet.
