The worst stay on the Camino. Friendly stuff but the smell in the entire building was overwhelming, as if someone was smoking there nonstop. Suffocating in the room at night because of bad air quality.. Definitely not worth the money. Stay away if you can!
We had a very pleasant stay, the rooms were modern and very clean and at an excellent price. The owner makes sure that it only has guests which are quiet and respectful which means you are guaranteed a good night sleep. We had finished the camino dos faros so we needed some rest. We also had to change our booking and the owner was very accomodating and refunded us our money without hestitation. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to pontevedra.
Helpful staff with clean bathrooms and rooms. During a very busy season at the Camino when all albergues were full this place was recommended by an hospitalero at a private albergue. This place was great and affordable. So thankful to the friendly lady that worked here who helped us find an albergue for the next day.
THE OWNER IS A LIAR! Stay away from this pension and the man even in case you are desperate. We were two pilgrims walking from Porto to Santiago. Since the accommodation situation was really bad these days, we booked a double room in this pension in advance. Spanish speaking staff in Redondela's visitor centre helped us to make a reservation and agreed on the date and price with the owner via telephone. When we arrived, we were terribly tired and hoped to get the room we booked. But the owner asked much more money and was completely unwilling to solve the problem with us. Moreover THE WHOLE BUILDING SMELLS REALLY BAD AND IS NOT CLEAN AT ALL. After unpleasant argument between us and the owner, we found a place to sleep in the local stadium, in a gym (highly recommended to all pilgrims who don't get a place in the albergue) and I am sure it was more pleasant a clean than this dirty, stinky pension.
Worst place I stayed in in the Camino. Room and bathroom not clean. 1 bathroom between lots of rooms, and facilities very old and uncared for. Couldn’t wait to leave and add l though the location is good I cannot recommend
