Slow City Hostel

Beautiful, clean 2 bedroom apartment with a lovely decor. The beds are comfortable - warm and delightful. Great small kitchen and lounge. Jorge was very helpful and turned on the heating fo us prior to arrival as it was cold and wet. Great hot water also! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, calm and clean hostel & a lovely stop on our camino. Only downside is theres only 1 toilet and shower, but its a small hostel so didnt bother us!

Slow City Hostel is a wonderfully cute albergue/ hostel in the perfect location. Jorge (the owner) is very nice and very responsive. The beds are extremely comfortable and the entire place was spotless. The comunal spaces are very well equipped and give the perfect cozy vibe. It is also in the perfect location- just around the corner from the Basilica and all of the main town squares and landmarks. Cannot recommend it enough!

We stayed in the shared dormitory which I found quite lovely- I liked the ambience of the balcony and the shutters. The hostel is in a fabulous part of town- just a street down from the cathedral. The owner was very helpful and gave us a map with advice of what to see and where to eat. The kitchen has free coffee (which was delicious). Beds were very comfy. The only reason for the four stars is the bathroom- there is only 1 toilet for 10 people and on the night we stayed over there was no hot water. A freezing shower after walking all day is not pleasant.

We got this massive apartment with 5 beds for 3 of us, huge space! The oven was tricky to work but the receptionist was such an angel and made sure she didn’t leave until it was working (which it did eventually). Nicest place we’ve stayed during our Camino. Give that girl a pay raise, she was really amazing selling the city sites to us and came out on top in our time of need even though she only started a week ago. 10/10 for staff alone!
