Great experience here. The staff was very friendly and helped me practice my Spanish. The beds were very comfortable, probably the best nights sleep I got while on the Camino. The de-humidifier where the clothes dry was an excellent touch because I could hand wash my laundry (for free) and it was done drying in no time. Right in the heart of the city.

The facilities are spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The communal areas have a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, perfect for meeting fellow travelers or relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is fantastic—close to the city center and all the main attractions, yet peaceful enough to enjoy a good night’s sleep. The attention to detail, like comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchens, really stood out. I highly recommend Turoqua Hostel to anyone visiting Pontevedra. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a home away from home. I'll definitely be back!
I stayed at this hostel for a few weeks during the fall and I can honestly say that it’s the best hostel in Pontevedra. The owners are simply the best people ever. Watching someone walk in asking for a room when the hostel was booked, and Sonia would tell them she didn’t have space but to sit down while she made some calls to find them a bed for the night was only a small instance where she was extremely kind. The facilities are extremely clean and the layout creates an atmosphere where you have privacy but can also chat with neighbors and make friends. I love this place and you will too. It’s located in the heart of “old town” so you can walk around and see the historic places.
It’s a really nice and cozy place. They got everything organized and clean. The common space has microwave, plates, bowls, kettle and toaster, everything you need is there. It’s a really convenient place since it’s close to the church, information centers and other restaurants.
Insufficient ac, it’s just a portable unit far below adequate, too hot to sleep, so not recommended unless you tolerate hot go temp, otherwise it’s clean and well located
